Curriculum
HighScope Curriculum
At Salahudien Educare Centre, we follow the HighScope Curriculum, a research-based, child-centered approach that promotes active learning. Children learn best through hands-on experiences with people, materials, events, and ideas. Our role as educators is to guide, support, and extend their natural curiosity.
Key Principles of HighScope
Active Learning
Children explore, ask questions, and discover through play.
Consistent Daily Routine
A structured flow of activities helps children feel secure and develop independence.
Adult–Child Interaction
Teachers support children by listening, asking open-ended questions, and encouraging problem-solving.
Learning Environment
Classrooms are set up with clearly defined areas to encourage choice and
responsibility.
Assessment
Ongoing observation and documentation track progress and plan learning experiences.
Family Partnership
Parents are engaged and informed as part of the learning journey.
